Registration for classes now takes place through Stellic. In the “Plan Your Path” section of Stellic, your advisor builds a semester-by-semester plan for you. During your appointment, they will review this plan with you and help you put courses in the plan for the upcoming semester.
Putting courses in your Stellic plan does NOT enroll you in those courses. To enroll, you must return to your Stellic plan on your enrollment date.
- Select “Plan Your Path” from the lefthand menu
- Select the “Go to Schedule” button in your Plan.
- Select “Confirm Registration.”
- A window will pop up with the courses in your Plan. Select “Complete Registration” at the bottom of the window.
Do You Need to be Advised Before Registration?
- If this is your first year at IU South Bend, you must meet with an advisor prior to registration.
- If you have been at IU South Bend for more than 2 semesters, you can schedule an appointment with your advisor or email them to request a plan review. Your advisor will email you to let you know if the courses in your plan are the best options for you. Please allow one week for a plan review.
How to Make an Advising Appointment
What Do You Need to Do Before Advising/Registration?
Check to see if you have holds that prevent enrollment other than an Advising hold. Advising holds will be removed by your advisor during your appointment. If you have a hold for a late bill, you should take care of that hold before making an advising appointment. The Titan Success Center can help you understand your holds and how to clear them.
